Which tells us that there does not seem to be any 16bit support for the whole of the Z Series.
Not every device is compatable with DOS or Windows 3x Or in some cases an older versions driver will do. Example here is the Printer HP Deskjet. You may not get all the features of the newer modal, but it will print.
In the case of the Printer Lexmark Z Series it seems that DOS or Win3x drivers were never written for it and it may be that its needs more complex drivers to make it work.
