I'm in the market for a new printer. Needs to be able to print decent quality photos. Do not live close to urban area, so probably printers Epson, HP, and *ugh* Lexmark, so that supplies are readily available. Right now I am considering the Printer HP 5500. Any coments on this printer. Or better suggestion about this printer. Have both Canon and Kodak digital cameras. Thanks.

Can you please let me know which state you live in. I could possibly offer advice.

US, NY. Probably rules out due to shipping cost. Can buy 5500 for approx $150USD here. A bit of advise maybe. How is this printer on ink usage. I've seen prints from it and I think they are very good. However printer HP and even worse printer Lexmark tend to be be ink hogs. I'll check back in a few days. Thanks
