I got the hp pc in Feb, 2009. I have burned Cds. At beginning, I always had problem continuing to burn the unfinished disks burned from the old pc with Roxio. I thought that it was just a compatibility problem. Thus, I have used all brand new disks to burn CDs until now with CyberLink DVD Suite Delux PowerToGo.

I just took out all the disks burned by the current PC. Only do the very recent burned disks are showing the data. Even the ones I burned a few months ago do not have any data at all, except the space that's occupied.

Have I had a defected DVD burner?
