I am attempting to use a Wycom check printing system with an HP LaserJet 4200. The Wycom system is not compatible with PS, PCL5e or PCL6 drivers. Where can I find a PCL 4 driver?

Hi Mozler,

I'm not sure it would work, but you could try loading a LaserJet III driver from Windows using the Add Printer wizard. Even a LaserJet II would be worth a try! There are no PCL4 drivers for the 4200 available.

Let us know if it works!

Are the LaserJet III drivers available under Windows XP Pro?

Hi again Mozler,

Those drivers aren't available for download because they are included with the operating system itself. Use the Add Printer wizard and select HP as the manufacturer, then scroll through the list until you reach the LJ III (or II) selection, then follow the prompts on the screen to finish the install.

Hope this helps!
